Design

  • We design useful and thought-provoking things and teach design thinking to encourage students, designers, and policymakers to reflect on social equitability, inclusiveness, and sustainability. We engage with and reimagine everyday objects to inspire our clients and students to consider our social world from a fresh perspective.

  • For example, the Satori series explores how cultural icons facilitate group solidarity and conflict. We chose t-shirt prints to explore the primary idea because t-shirts are noticeable and dispersible. We printed geometric portraits of iconic figures like Ambedkar and Gandhi to quicken recognition and emphasize their status as symbols. The shirts exposed social fault lines, inciting pronounced, spontaneous reactions.
